Here are twelve things to do in quarantine time to swipe away the boredom:
1.) CONNECT WITH NATURE:
Everything has positive aspects and so does the current crisis. With people and their vehicles at home, the air has got fresher and the environment cleaner.
I’m pretty sure you won’t get over the vibes sitting in your balcony or your garden. Plus, you can make your sitting area more pleasant with poofy pillows, lights and what not!
2.) FAMILY BONDING:
You’re finally home! A much needed break from the daily hustle and what better time than this to bond with your family.
Get those board games and your childhood out from the trunks and there you go, making sugar sweet memories again. It doesn’t matter even if you all don’t get along, you have no other option lol.
3.) DJ PARTY AT HOME:
With all the viral videos giving you a FOMO, I got you covered!
Flaunt your song playlist and that amazing music taste by becoming a DJ yourself. Gather your family members to lighten their mood and brush off the panic.
For a cherry on top, you can contact your neighbours for collaborating. who wouldn’t want to join your party from their balconies.
4.) GET TO THOSE HANDS & FEET:
Why not do a simple mani-pedi at home for those amazing pairs.
Shape & trim your nails, paint them afresh if you wish, give them a nice bath, exfoliate, moisturise & there you go happy hands & feet!
Even men can go for a mani-pedi, you need care too.
5.) HAIR CARE:
With ample of time at your dispense, work on a good hair care sesh.
Try out simple hair care masks like egg, curd or aloe Vera for shiny, smooth & clean strands.
You can even dye or cut your own hair, for no one is going to see you for a while even if it goes wrong!
6.) MAKE A SKIN CARE ROUTINE:
Even if you don’t feel like it, a skin care routine needs to be in your daily routine.
Find out the products that work best for your skin & make some steps.
It can be a morning or a night time session. Time to give your skin a better life.
7.) START A JOURNAL:
Planning out your day on a journal can help you with being productive while you’re still at home. Having a particular schedule can eliminate the anxiety & depression hovering around your mind.
Staying at home makes everyone lazy. It’s not just you. So start making a checklist.
8.) MOVIES/ HOME THEATRE:
How about making your own projector with a cardboard box and there you have a home theatre experience.
Movies can divert your mind away from the panic and create a sense of positivity.
Learn some new recipes or some of your family treasures, now that you’re finally home & free.
Get your mind wandering on those mind-openers or some fantasies. What better time than now to visit another world.
Have fun with colours. Who knows, you could create a masterpiece!
Start organising & cleaning your room & complete those tasks you’ve been putting away since what seems like your birth.
Stay in! Stay safe!
